The Landscaping Process

Landscaping Process – Step by Step
Step 1: Information about Your Garden
Before Neil makes an appointment to meet you and to view your garden it is helpful to send him photos of your garden (by email or by post) together with some information about your garden and your ideas. This helps Neil to quickly understand your requirements and gives him a feel for your garden, which speeds up the enquiry process.

What is your budget? (Think of your garden as an interior room e.g. Kitchen. You can spend £5,000 – £150,000, depending on the extent of the work.)
Step 2: After receiving your information, Neil contacts you and makes an appointment to meet you. He meets you at your home and views your garden. If you have seen a garden that you like in a magazine this is a perfect opportunity to show Neil. At the meeting, Neil will discuss your requirements and talk over your budget with you. He will bring along our portfolio to show you and will be happy to answer any of your questions.
Step 3: When Neil has all the information he needs, he heads back to the office to work out a price for you. He contacts you as soon as possible with his quotation by telephone or email.
Step 4: Once the quote and proposal has been agreed with you, we prepare a contract, which you need to sign before we go ahead. At this point, you also need to pay to us a deposit equivalent to 25% of the landscaping cost. For larger projects we ask for progress payments.
Step 5: Upon receipt of your deposit, we book your work into our landscaping schedule and source the best quality plants and the materials needed for your garden build. We start your work when it is convenient for you. The duration of the build will vary according to the size and complexity of the project. The weather also dictates the timescale and progress. We do our utmost to complete your project as soon as possible and to the highest standards, keeping you informed at all times.
